Hip Hop classes explore contemporary street dance styles while building rhythm, confidence, musicality, and performance quality. Classes emphasize age-appropriate choreography and individual expression.
Level 1 dancers mat take ballet or modern simultaneously. Dancers above level 1 must take ballet simultaneously
The below information provides an outline for our program structure and class offerings. Once you've selected your classes, we will review and approve your registration.
Levels 1 & Above: Placement is based on ability, experience, and technical development rather than age alone. New students may schedule a placement evaluation with the Director before registering.

Young Hoppers
An energetic introduction to hip hop dance for ages 6-8. Students learn age-appropriate movement, rhythm, musicality, coordination, and performance skills in a fun and encouraging environment.
Lower School Hip Hop
Hip Hop classes, for students 9+, that explore contemporary street dance styles while building rhythm, confidence, musicality, and performance quality. Classes emphasize age-appropriate choreography and individual expression.
Upper School Hip Hop

The youngest students study creative movement and pre-dance which offer a fun introduction to ballet and modern. Older dancers receive technical training in classical ballet, pointe, pre-pointe, modern, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and African dance.
